The election is over and I'd like to thank everyone for their support in this, Yes I won And it was a landslide. My opponent conseeded before even half the ballets were counted. I actually felt badly as the ballets were being counted as I won by so much which was surely hard on her, especially since she is much higer profile than I and better known in the region. She took it very well though and hosted a wonderful party for all of us after ward. The other thing that was exciting too is that while the Voter Turn out in the province was lower than ussual we had the highest voter turnout in History here in Nipigon. I'll be really busy over the next while but will keep building.

Right on Richard! That's great news, indeed!

And welcome James!

Aweright!

Now all you need is a shirt like Peter Griffin had in an episode of 'Family Guy'. He wound up mayor of 'New Quohog' after a Y2K holocaust... In any event, his shirt had 'Mayor this' across the chest and underneath an arrow pointing... errr... to the ground... Alain Desforges39035.7602199074

Oops, I'm off to a bad start. Funny about the "family guy, that epesode was on TV yesterday, I never watch the family guy but somehow caught that episode. Thanks for all the well wishes. Another 100 people in town lost their jobs yesterday so the job keeps getting harder.
